Fair play & dispute resolution
Competitive gaming only works when everyone trusts the result. Here's how Gamers keeps it fair.
How results are confirmed
- After a match, both players report the final score.
- If both reports match, the match is settled automatically and the prize is released.
- If the reports differ, the match is frozen and sent to our review team. No money moves until a decision is recorded.
- If your opponent doesn't respond within 24 hours, you can escalate to an admin.
Evidence
Upload screenshots of the final score screen (PNG, JPEG or WebP, max 3 MB, up to 3 per match). Evidence is private — only the two players and our review team can see it. Screenshots support a claim but never decide a payout on their own: reviewers consider both reports, evidence, match history and account signals.
Admin decisions
Reviewers can award the win to either player, declare a draw, or void the match (stakes refunded). Every decision is recorded with a written note and kept in our audit log.
Prohibited behaviour
- Cheats, mods, exploits or letting someone else play on your account.
- Reporting false results or editing screenshots.
- Colluding with an opponent or arranging outcomes.
- Operating multiple accounts.
- Abusive or threatening behaviour.
Violations can lead to forfeits, suspension or a permanent ban. Use the Report button on any player profile to flag suspicious activity.
Cancellations & no-shows
- Open challenges can be cancelled by the creator; stakes are refunded in full.
- Once accepted, both players must agree to cancel before the match starts.
- Unaccepted challenges expire after 48 hours (or at the scheduled time) and are refunded automatically.
- For no-shows after a match is started, open a dispute — an admin will review.
